Case 1: Go to your existing Verizon router and take power off, then unplug the Ethernet. Let it like this for a few hours, preferably for 24 hours, and then plug in your Verizon compatible router.
Case 2: Go to your Verizon router and login. After you are in, enable the discharge of the DHCP lease. After this plug-in, the Verizon compatible router with through the Ethernet. Only after that, give the router power.
